I'm not a crystal expert by any means, but the glasses are pretty and a nice weight. One of mine did chip on the first use but I suspect it was from an over enthusiastic New Years Eve toast by one of the kids. I wanted something that looked nice but I didn't have to hold my breath when we used them...
