It doesn't have the tendency to tip over, as the tall stemmed glasses. The Viognier/Chardonnay size handles well for a smaller hand. The old style of using heavily cut crystal, no matter what the price, has long been surpassed by the elegance, simplicity and perfect design of the Riedel Tyrol. Even though it isn't the most expensive of the Reidel wine glasses, we have found that that the Tyrol is the best design.
